Incline Push-Up
How to do it
- 1
Place your hands on a sturdy bench, box or wall ledge, slightly wider than shoulder-width.
- 2
Walk your feet back until your body forms a straight line.
- 3
Lower your chest to the edge with control.
- 4
Push back to the start, keeping your core tight.
Common mistakes
- Using an unstable surface.
- Letting the head drop forward.
Tips
- The higher the surface, the easier the exercise — lower it as you get stronger.
- Great for building up to full push-ups.
