Decline Push-Up
How to do it
- 1
Place your feet on a bench or step and your hands on the floor, shoulder-width apart.
- 2
Brace your core and glutes to keep a straight line.
- 3
Lower your chest toward the floor under control.
- 4
Press back up until your arms are extended.
Common mistakes
- Letting the lower back arch.
- Placing hands too far forward.
Tips
- Elevating the feet shifts load toward the upper chest and shoulders.
- Start with a low step and progress height gradually.
