How to do it
- 1
Stand holding dumbbells in front of your thighs.
- 2
Keep a slight bend in the elbows and your core braced.
- 3
Raise the dumbbells in front of you to shoulder height.
- 4
Lower slowly.
Common mistakes
- Leaning back to swing the weights up.
- Raising far above shoulder height.
Tips
- Front delts get plenty of work from pressing — use this sparingly.
- Alternate arms for better control.
