Arnold Press
How to do it
- 1
Sit with dumbbells in front of your shoulders, palms facing you.
- 2
Start pressing up while rotating your palms to face forward.
- 3
Finish with arms extended overhead and palms forward.
- 4
Reverse the rotation as you lower back to the start.
Common mistakes
- Rushing the rotation.
- Using weights too heavy to control the twist.
Tips
- The rotation increases front-delt involvement and range of motion.
- Use about 10–20% less weight than a regular dumbbell press.
