Walking Lunge
How to do it
- 1
Hold dumbbells at your sides and stand tall.
- 2
Step forward and lower until both knees are bent to about 90°.
- 3
Push through the front foot and bring the back foot forward into the next step.
- 4
Continue alternating legs.
Common mistakes
- Taking steps so short that the front heel lifts.
- Letting the torso collapse forward.
Tips
- Longer steps emphasise glutes; shorter steps emphasise quads.
- Use bodyweight only while learning.
