Reverse Lunge
How to do it
- 1
Stand tall with feet hip-width apart.
- 2
Step one foot back and lower until both knees are bent to about 90°.
- 3
Push through the front heel to return to standing.
- 4
Alternate legs or complete all reps on one side.
Common mistakes
- Letting the front knee cave inward.
- Stepping back too short.
Tips
- Stepping back is easier on the knees than forward lunges.
- Hold dumbbells to progress.
