What is it?

Loading the bar quickly and correctly saves time between sets and avoids mistakes when working with percentages.

How it's calculated

Weight per side = (target − bar) ÷ 2.

Plates are chosen greedily from the largest available: 25, 20, 15, 10, 5, 2.5, 1.25 kg or 45, 35, 25, 10, 5, 2.5 lb.
