Hanging Leg Raise
How to do it
- 1
Hang from a pull-up bar with a shoulder-width grip.
- 2
Brace your core to minimise swinging.
- 3
Raise your legs by curling your pelvis up, knees bent or legs straight.
- 4
Lower slowly without swinging.
Common mistakes
- Swinging to lift the legs.
- Only lifting the thighs without curling the pelvis.
Tips
- Start with bent knees and progress to straight legs.
- Think 'show your tailbone to the wall in front'.
